Vehicle Type (section 5.2)

Single seaters running in 4 classes.

Class A: Cars built after January 1st 1995; all F3 derived cars and Vauxhall Lotus cars.
Class B: Cars built before 1st January 1995
Class C: FFord Zetec cars.
Class D: Invitation class

Engine (section 5.7)

Ford CVH, Ford 1800 Zetec in both FF Zetec and modified form, motorcycle engines, Pinto, Renault & VW Polo.

Suspension (section 5.8)

As ‘proper’ single-seaters, all cars have fully-adjustable suspension.

Brakes (Section 5.11)

For FF2000, FF Zetec and Vau brakes are as per the original regulations; others are free.

Transmission (section 5.9)

All classes are limited to 4-speed (or standard box in the bike-engined cars) plus mandatory reverse; these are racing gearboxes with freedom of choice of ratios.

Tyres (Section 5.13)

Avon control compound slicks or Hoosier; wets are free.

Rounds (Section 1.5)

There will be 14 rounds in 2008, of which the best 12 count for the Championship.

Costs

Registration fee for the Season is £75.
750 Motor Club membership for 12 months is £50.00 including a joining fee.
