A flame resistant balaclava is now mandatory for circuit racing from the 2026 season onwards. Certification details can be found in the latest NCRs from Motorsport UK at Ch. 12, App. 12, Art 3.1c.

Whilst the vast majority of drivers already use these, please check yours complies and is in good condition ahead of new season scrutineering (note hologram or FIA number), and check out 750MC partners such as Tegiwa and Vulcan Racing for all your kit requirements.
