If you are not familiar with this car, it is the ex-Robin Gearing/Peter Bove/Mark Windley car that has won multiple championships and over seventy 750 Formula races. On my first outing I finished on the podium at the first round of the championship this year at Donington and was headed for a second podium until I had a visit to the gravel trap! I did a 1.19.85 lap and was on a 1.18 lap before my user error! It’s quick….
The spec on this car is enormous and since collecting it late last year I have had a full engine rebuild by Anthony Denham at CKM (£4k), the Quaife sequential gearbox is currently being rebuilt, complete rewire from scratch, a new Life Lithium Battery (£1k), new slicks (one meeting old), Hoosier wets (one meeting old), a new Polestar ECU, coil pack, fuel pump, Weber 45 Carb, Carbon fibre rear wing and the Fire Extinguisher has been serviced.
