2005 Honda Civic EP3 K24 Endurance spec race car for sale. I purchased the car in 2018 as a road car, and converted the car into Civic Cup spec, before upgrading it into an Endurance car. The car most recently competed in the 2022 (5 rounds) and 2023 (2 rounds) 750MC Club Enduro, within class B (240bhp/ton), where it won a round of Club Enduro Clubman Cup in 2022. It has been dry stored since and has just undergone a pre-sale inspection and recommission with Motion Motorsport, at a cost of £2090.
The original engine was replaced with a K24A midway through 2022, producing 275bhp (dyno’d on 17/11/25) and a near flat power curve from 7000-8200RPM (dyno graph available on request). The engine is capable of more power, but was capped to keep it within championship regulations. It was refreshed with a new K20 oil pump, water pump, timing chain and guides at the time of install.
The gearbox was rebuilt and upgraded by One Day Motorsport in March 2023, utilising their custom short gear ratio kit. This suits the K24A perfectly, keeping the engine in it’s powerband between gear changes. It is geared for a top speed of 130MPH, which is ideal for all UK circuit tracks. The gearbox is fitted with an Mfactory 1.5 way plated differential.
The car has a full weld in roll cage (Civic Cup spec), fitted and sprayed Grey by SW Motorsports. The original front windscreen has been replaced with a heated windscreen and original heater/blower removed for weight saving. Polycarbonate windows are fitted elsewhere. The car weighs 1115kg without fuel.
It has a 95L Race Safe fuel cell (bladder type), capable of 120+ minutes racing without re-fuelling. This is fitted in place of the original fuel tank, keeping the mass low and central, unlike some of the ‘auxiliary range extender’ tanks fitted to other endurance EP3’s. The original fuel system has been removed entirely, and replaced with a closed loop system. A breathable Tuff Jug will be included in the sale, capable of adding 20L in approximately 45 seconds.
The front brakes have been upgraded to AP Racing 5000 series calipers, 330mm floating discs, and Pagid RSL29 pads. This setup offers fantastic stopping power and no brake fade whatsoever. Brake bias can be adjusted via the AP Racing brake proportioning valve.
This would make a great race car in 750MC Club Enduro and Roadsports, BRSCC Supersport Endurance Cup and Clubsport Trophy, and is also ideally suited to class A of Honda Racing Championship.
The car can also come with a comprehensive spares package, available by separate negotiation.
Selling as I’m now racing sports prototype cars.
