FOR SALE – 750MC Locost Championship Car (Procomp LA Chassis)

Most people around the 750MC Locost paddock will know this has been a decision I’ve been going backwards and forwards on for quite a while – over two years!

I’ve finally decided it’s time to advertise the car. Truthfully, I’m still not completely sure I want to let it go, but work and family commitments mean it simply isn’t getting used enough, and it deserves to be out racing.

Chassis & Engine

• Procomp LA chassis.
• Built and developed by Procomp – Ivan and Matt Gilmour.
• Proven front-running chassis in the 750MC Locost Championship.
• I’ve owned the car since 2019.
• Ready to race.
• DG-RE engine refreshed ahead of the 2026 season.
• Since the refresh the car has only completed:
  • 1 track day.
  • 1 track evening.
  • 1 race weekend.
• Corner weighted and set up by DG-RE.
• DG-RE setup / corner weight sheet included with the car.

I’m sure DG-RE would be happy to confirm it performed very well on the dyno and has plenty of life left in it.

Reliability & Maintenance

This has been one of the most reliable cars on the grid during my ownership.

• Only two mechanical retirements since 2019.
  • One brake-related.
  • One minor carburettor issue.
• Engine oil changed every other race weekend throughout my ownership.

Included with the Car

• Spare differential.
• Spare wishbones.
• Spare nose cone.
• Selection of additional spares and smaller parts (I’ll have a proper sort through before sale).

Belts & Extinguisher

• Lifeline extinguisher valid until December 2027.
• Harnesses are dated 2026, with the approved 5-year extension in place, making them valid until 2031.

Viewing is welcome on weekday evenings or weekends.
