I have for sale my endurance spec Lotus Elise S2 race car.
This car was built at the beginning of 2019 to compete in 750MC Club Enduro and Roadsports but is eligible for many other series too.
It is an early Elise S2 with the much lighter and more reliable) Rover K series engine producing 225 bhp and weighing 730kg (runs 20kg of ballast to fit power to weight limit).
The engine is a fully built 83mm bore K series with forged pistons, H beam rods, Mahle Motorsport bearings, blanked off VVC head (very welll ported), Piper 1444 cams, Paul Ivey valves, Piper double valve springs, steel spring caps, Piper vernier pulleys, Titan direct to head throttle bodies with large airbox and optimised trumpets lengths and Eliseparts large bore exhaust manifold (the best you can get) and repackable silencer.
Mated to the engine is a 6 speed sequential gearbox with Quaife ATB fitted.
The engine has 7 hours of running on it since it was built as does the gearbox. So almost brand new.
The suspension has been upgraded throughout with Eliseparts GT race uprights, adjustable bump steer steering arms, spherical bearings in wishbones, uprated rose-jointed toe links, 1-1/8” adjustable anti-roll bar and Quantum 2-way dampers.
The braking system consists of 308mm ali-belled discs up front with AP 2 pot calipers and Peformance friction pads, with the rear sporting 288mm ali-belled discs with lightweight 2 pot calipers running the same pads.
Inside there is a Tillett B6F XL seat and an FIA approved endurance specific 6 point harness that was new at the start of 2024. A removable steering wheel was also added to make driver swaps easier. There is a 4.0 litre AFFF FIA fire extinguisher system with 6 nozzles which is in date and recently serviced.
The bodywork is lightweight and the car is fitted with polycarbonate windscreen and side windows. The car has significant aero (that actually works) including a top mount wing with bespoke pylons, side skirts and large front splitter (with diffusers) and rear diffuser which greatly increase the area of the flat floor under the car.
The car comes with two sets of wheels, one set of dry tyres and one set of wets (Uniroyal Rainsports).
This car is capable of running right at the front of Class A in Club Enduro or Roadsports and achieved many fastest laps and lap records this year.
Times achieved this year
Anglesey Coastal – 1.12.9
Silverstone Int – 1.11.1
Croft – 1.26.8
Snetterton 300 – 2.02.3
Donington GP – 1.39.2
This is a well sorted car that is properly dialled in and very easy to drive and due to the light weight is very good on fuel, tyres, brakes, etc.
SINCE 1939
