BMW Car Club Racing Approved by BMW UK for M2 Racing Class

The BMW Car Club Racing Championship will feature a new class for the 2026 season backed by BMW UK, comprised of the brand new turn-key M2 Racing model from BMW Motorsport. The new car is a four-cylinder offering intended to offer a suitable platform for both newcomers and experienced racers alike – complete with warranty – with performance that will see it run towards the front of the BMWCCR grids, but with a sensible power to weight figure that ensures the cars likely won’t always be quickest on circuit in terms of lap times.

This adds to the ethos of the BMWCCR Championship; providing a racing home for all BMW models from E21 and E30 through to F-generation 3 Series models in the 2025 season. The championship runs as part of the 750 Motor Club portfolio and is the only formula backed by BMW Car Club GB, whilst BMW Motorsport selected the championship for the inclusion of the new M2 Racing into the UK club racing marketplace.
