New Hot Hatch Classes for Turbocharged Cars

The 2026 Hot Hatch Championship is set for a shakeup this season, with a carefully-considered multi-class format that will offer some of the UK’s most exciting and closest one-make sprint grids, plus new eligibility for more modern machinery.

Alongside all existing classes with minor regulation tweaks to balance chassis layouts and induction type, Class A and B now cater for forced induction up to 1625cc, and a new T2 Class offers an exciting new racing home for turbocharged models with up to 2000cc capacity.

The season is set for 14 rounds across some of the UK’s best-loved tracks and six events, kicking off at Brands Hatch on 19th April.
