I acquired the car approximately 12 years ago, I used to work part time for a gentleman called John Hunt, who, was renown in the vintage Bentley world. It was his intention to build an Austin Ulster supercharged. Over many years he collected and restored all of the parts to build this car.
The car has a V5 document saying it is an Austin Sports, registered in 1931, but for whatever reason, manufactured in 1936. The engine was built by Rawson and Rawson and has never run, The body is by Compound Curvatures, I have a Cozette supercharger, which still needs some machining carried out on it, other jobs that still need to be completed are, rear brake cable, wiring all instruments and lights, battery installation, 6 or 12 V, undecided. The radiator bottom hose outlet needs to be relocated to clear the water pump and the nose piece needs to be modified for the pressure fed system.
I do not have a windscreen, starter motor, fuel pump and the linkage for the advance mechanism. There is a large collection of Johns literature which he sent to various people and companies when he was researching the project and acquiring the parts.
