Spire GT3 – RGB Spec Race/Hillclimb/Sprint/Trackday Car

This is the most highly developed of this model of Spire and we have been working on the trick suspension for the last 2 seasons. It was originally a Spire Factory built car and was the sister car to the Tim Gray/Matt Higginson multi championship winning GT3. I bought it for the 2013 season and since then has achieved many poles, wins and fastest laps. The car is very competitive and is capable of hanging on to the new breed of Spires and Mittel cars at the sharp end of the grid. It was fitted at the start of 2016 with a rebuilt Honda CBR1000 engine (built by Andy Pallot) and during the rebuild had a new clutch as well as shells and the usual bits and bobs. The suspension is custom Black Art Designs 3 way adjustable aluminium dampers (gas/oil) with a 3rd damper on the rear and dual rate springs all round. Easier to set up than it sounds - all the secrets will be divulged to the new owner!!!! The car will come with a spare set of wheels fitted with wets, different sprocket and also my spare CBR1000 engine. It is fitted with an ETB Digidash with expanded data logging and comes with throttle position and suspension travel sensors, carbon fibre rear undertray and is on the RGB weight limit with an 85kg driver.

Comes complete with spare CBR1000 engine - this has done a bit of work before but will certainly get you out of a jam if required. Last time I fitted it I took the win! (Anglesey 2015)

This car lapped Brands Hatch Indy circuit in 48.61secs, achieved 7 podium positions in 2016 and finished 3rd in Class Championship. Competed in 3 Birkett relay events and with slicks fitted in 2014 achieved 2nd fastest lap of the day (just behind Tim Gray in his Bikesports car) and was part of the outright winning Inspires Team in 2015.

I am happy to support for a test or race for the new owner and even a bit of tuition if required, all datalogs and detailed setup/service information will be provided. This car is extremely driveable, quick, forgiving - and flippin' quick!
