For sale is my Class B Spyder Mk2 Formula Vee Single Seat racecar.

The Spyder was created by Mike Steley when he converted American Citation Vee chassis' for the UK market and took the championship by storm.

The car has completed the 2020 & 2021 seasons in the 750MC UK Formula Vee Championship achieving 4th in Class in the 2020 championship.

The car had new lightweight bodywork made at the start of 2021 and I would be willing to sell the moulds and spare body panels. (price to be negotiated)

The 1300cc Engine was built by AHS Motorsports in 2020 and is fully compliant with UK Formula Vee Regulations.

The gearbox was rebuilt ahead of the 2021 season by Bears Motorsports and the clutch was replaced at the same time.

Bears Motorsports also replaced the front beam and created a cracking setup on the Spyder.

New brakes were fitted all round and all suspension components were serviced by AVO ahead of the 2021 season.

Car has had all new electrics, coil, ignition module, distributor, rotor arm, plug leads, plugs, fuel pump, FIA Isolator switch and ignition switch this season.

The car dash has:-
Racetech Air/Fuel Ratio Meter,
Racetech Tachometer with programmable shift lights
Racetech Combined Oil Temperature & Pressure Gauge
Dual Oil Pressure Warning Lights
Wilwood remote brake bias adjuster
Quick release steering wheel

The Spyder is a brilliant chassis and is a proven race winner in the right hands (A Spyder won the recent Formula Vee race at Brands Hatch).

There are spare parts available that could be included in the sale - spare chassis (from roll hoop forward) plus engine mounts.

The car currently has an AMB Tranx 260DP transponder which I would be willing to sell with the car for £300
