Ben Wright appointed as 750 Motor Club Marketing and Communications Executive
Fri 31 May 2013
As some of you will know, we re-advertised the role recently and had over 30 applicants. These were screened down to seven by a selection team made up of Giles Groombridge, Paul Chalk, Ian Sowman and Colin Chapman. Following first interviews, three candidates were invited to a second interview on 21 May with Gill Davis and Nick Salmon joining the selection team.
Ben has six years of marketing experience with Triumph Motorcycles initially and then with John Deere before starting his own marketing business more recently. He is clearly very passionate about motoring and motorsport. He is the proud owner of a Triumph GT6 and has briefly (and successfully) raced MR2s and single seaters with the club in the past.
Ben’s role will involve marketing and communications across all of the club’s activities – racing, heritage and trials. He will also focus on working with the centres and non-racing members to support their activities and he will attend the monthly Board meetings. Ben will also manage the content of the club’s new web site.
Please welcome Ben to the Club. He will be based in the office at Donington Park and will start with us on 3 June.
