Cartek Club Enduro - 2018 Championship Status
Wed 13 Dec 2017
After two extremely successful seasons since its introduction in 2016, we are pleased to announce that Cartek Club Enduro will change to run as a championship for the 2018 season. The formula has seen an ever-increasing surge of popularity since the first official race at Donington Park back in March 2016, and feedback from registered drivers approved the change to run as a championship with a significant majority verdict.
Draft regulations are now available to view here, and the provisional calendar for the 2018 season can be found below, including a return trip to Spa Francorchamps in Belgium. With the best five scores of seven taken into account for points in each of the three power-to-weight classes, it allows the majority of drivers to contest the championship even if not entering all rounds. With the exception of a slight (£45) increase in registration fee compared to a series, the formula remains just as accessible and enjoyable for those only looking to participate in selected rounds.
Round 1 – Donington Park GP - Sunday 18th March (2hr)
Round 2 – Oulton Park International – Saturday 14th April (2hr)
Round 3 – Rockingham ISSL - Sunday 10th June (3hr)
Rounds 4 & 5 – Spa Francorchamps – Friday 6th / Saturday7th July (2 x 100mins)
Round 6 – Silverstone International – Saturday 11th August (2hr)
Round 7 – Snetterton 300 – Sunday 7th October (2hr)
Registration for the 2018 Cartek Club Enduro Championship will take place in January, and look out for a car representing the formula on the 750 Motor Club stand at
Autosport International on 11th-14th January.
