Eagle-eyed viewers of the 750 Motor Club's 2023 calendar will have noticed the addition of '116 Sprint' in the lineup of formulae; initially on track with the new 120 Coupe Cup. 

Following on from a test outing at Pembrey last season, 116 Sprint uses the exact same specification 'E87' BMW 116i race cars as the hugely successful 116 Trophy endurance series yet offers 15 minute sprint races, meaning that drivers now have the option to contest either a sprint series, an endurance series (for one, two or three drivers), or both!

A single 2023 Registration Fee (per driver, rather than per car) covers both options, and with the first 116 Sprint races at Silverstone on 29th April already closing in on an incredible 30 entries, it's set to be a busy season ahead for the affordable BMW hatchbacks.
