Locost 20th Anniversary, Cadwell Park - 20th July
Fri 12 Jul 2019
Next weekend’s 750 Motor Club meeting at Cadwell Park (20th/21st July) not only marks the halfway point of the season for the 2019 Demon Tweeks | Yokohama Locost Championship, but also a celebration to mark 20 years of Locost racing – one of UK club motorsport’s most affordable, best loved and well supported formulae.
Providing huge grids year-in year-out since 1999, next weekend’s celebrations not only see full grids on the track with entrants split into groups to accommodate numbers, but also celebrations off track. All Cadwell Park Locost drivers are invited to join in the celebrations at the marquee in the Locost paddock, where the Hog Roast Catering Company will also be set up, serving complimentary food to drivers and guests from 6pm. Refreshments will be available, but drivers are encouraged to bring along their own for the evening.
All registered 2019 drivers will receive a free commemorative Locost 20th Anniversary T shirt (available to collect at future rounds for those unable to make Cadwell) - and that’s not all - as prizes will be drawn in a free raffle for registered drivers at the evening event, including a free 2020 Locost Championship Registration voucher from 750MC, in addition to prizes from longstanding sponsors Demon Tweeks, who will be offering prizes including gift vouchers
to the value of £80, and a racing kit bag worth more than £75.
Competitors Please Note:
All competitors will receive three meal vouchers, and are encouraged to distribute unused ones with other competitors who may be in need of extras. We do have the ability to cater for additional people for a small charge if known in advance – if you definitely require any further meal vouchers please email
james@750mc.co.uk as soon as possible.
For any drivers testing on Friday or attending the Thursday evening track day, please be advised that the ‘red area’ in the paddock plan below should be kept clear for the erection of the marquee and catering on Friday afternoon/evening.
Menu:
Hog Roast, served with baked potatoes, fresh green salad, homemade coleslaw, bread rolls and butter, sage & onion stuffing & accompanying sauces. Vegetarian option available.
