14 prospective racing drivers took part in the 750 Motor Club's Saxmax Live 2012 Event at North Weald Airfield in Essex.

The aspiring young drivers, aged between 13 and 16 years old, were put through their paces in a selection of Saxmax cars by a group of instructors including former BTCC star Chris Hodgetts, son Stefan an up and coming GT driver and Liam MacMillan, a former Saxmax champion who has gone onto have success in the Spanish Seat Supercopa Series and the BTCC.

With all the drivers getting 3 x 20 minute sessions in the car, it was an intense day's running, but with several registrations being taken on the day and a number of cars changing hands it was certainly a success. Many thanks to Westbourne Motorsport, Ferguson Motorsport and Davison Motorsport for providing the cars on the day.
