Statement: 750 Motor Club Events & COVID-19

Fri 13 Mar 2020

Based on the UK situation and in line with government and Motorsport UK advice, the 750 Motor Club would like to reassure competitors and volunteers that the Club’s 2020 calendar of events is currently set to continue as per schedule.

Although the 750MC race season does not commence until 4th/5th April and we will continue to monitor and adapt to the UK situation as necessary, the Club’s pre-season trackday tomorrow (14th March) at Silverstone will still go ahead as planned, with additional precautions in place for attendees.

In the instance that any race meeting should be cancelled due to government or Motorsport UK instruction, then the Club would ensure that every effort is made to reschedule races. Should this not be possible, then the Club would ensure that fees may be transferred to an alternative event.

Motorsport UK has issued a statement including a list of precautions that should be adhered to at circuits – please read the list carefully at the link below in advance of all events. Furthermore, for those booked on the 750MC pre-season trackday at Silverstone, we would encourage attendees to utilise the full expanse of space when arriving in the large National paddock; leaving gaps rather than parking in tight groups.

Should you be showing any symptoms then you must not attend the trackday and 750MC reserve the right to refuse entry – anyone affected should make contact with the Club office in advance to arrange a refund.
