The Armed Forces Racing Challenge Joins 750MC
Thu 05 Feb 2015
In collaboration with the RAFMSA, the British Army Race Car Team can confirm our plans for 2015. The team will continue competing in the Armed Forces Racing Challenge as we look to defend the titles we won in 2014.
The Armed Forces Racing Challenge will run slightly differently this season as we join forces with the 750 Motor Club and will share the grid with their successful Cartek Roadsports Endurance Series. Roadsports has a reputation for good driving standards and will allow our team to race against civilians as well as the best drivers from across the British Armed Forces.
The provisional 2015 calendar sees us start the defence of our title at the Silverstone National circuit in Northampton on 2nd May, before moving onto Cadwell Park in June (20th). The Armed Forces Race Challenge will conclude in Norfolk on 12th September as our drivers take to the Snetterton Circuit.
Each round will consist of a 45 minute race, which includes a mandatory 1 minute pit stop. The race can be run individually or split up between two drivers, either sharing a car or running in a relay style event with two cars.
