Terms & Conditions
- An ARDS test will be booked for competitors choosing the Licence Package, and this will be available on a few dates over winter, at Mallory Park in Leicestershire. Note that drivers must learn the essentials in the Go Racing Pack (supplied), and basic track knowledge (such as having participated in a trackday) is recommended before the test. Should a driver not pass, then an additional fee would be required for a re-test.
- The cost of a basic medical would be covered if required for a licence. Under current Motorsport UK rules, this is not required for drivers aged under 59 unless in the case of some pre-existing medical conditions.
- An eyesight test is required, which is free of charge at Optical Express for Motorsport UK members.
- Post-build labour, maintenance & warranty: Whilst general mechanical help and preparation advice will be available from an on-hand SSC mechanic at race events, this is intended as general extra support for the whole paddock. There will be no element of warranty or repairs, trackside or otherwise. Any and all running costs and repairs are the sole responsibility of the car owner (including any Foundation Programme builds once handed over to the customer). Circuit racing pushes cars to their limits and breakages and ongoing maintenance is something that must be understood as being par for the course at club level. Any Foundation Programme builds are race cars built from secondhand road cars' that will likely exhibit general wear and tear, minor cosmetic issues and the risk of mechanical issues.
- Insurance: Any damage however caused at race events is the sole responsibility of the car owner regardless of fault, and competition is always at the drivers' own risk. Race Insurance options are however available, contact 750MC for more details.
