Event Preview

750 Motor Club returns to Snetterton this Bank Holiday weekend with an exceptional entry across ten formulae in attendance. As well as Monday’s races being live streamed (here), we are also pleased to showcase a new digital race programme, allowing greater promotion of not only the event, 750MC and partners, but also offer a more insightful experience for marshals and spectators, plus increased promotion for drivers and their sponsors.

A total of 20 races on the schedule has become 21 thanks to a whopping 64-car entry for the Tegiwa Roadsports Championship – numbers sufficient for the second split-class outing of the season. The formula’s inaugural champion Matt Creed currently leads in the points with his trusty Clio 200, however having missed the Anglesey race, he’ll need to ensure he remains on form for that zero score result to remain insignificant. Behind, it is close between Class A leader Scott Parkin in his Audi TT, and the father and son pairings sitting atop B and D respectively; Liam & Max Crilly (BMW Z4) and Phil & Matthew Adcock (BMW E36 Compact). 

After a warmup outing on Sunday, Monday’s BMW Car Club Racing Championship races will welcome a seasoned racer of the German marque but one not so familiar with four wheeled competition, as Isle of Man TT legend Michael Dunlop joins another busy 2026 CCR grid. His M2 Racing car will be joined in class by an entry from Ruben Cueto, but it is Theo Millward who currently tops the championship table, running in Class M2 with his immaculate R.Elsworth BMW-prepared E36. Longstanding BMWCCR racer Paul Laramy (Class 6 E46 Compact) is next, however just a single point separates him from Paul Cook (Class M1 E46 M3). 

The other formula racing only on Monday is Tegiwa Club Enduro, which brings a huge turnout of production sports and saloons for a two-hour encounter. As in Roadsports, the top three vying for the overall championship title come from three different classes. Longstanding Club Enduro racers Paul Subbiani & Jonathan Hayes currently just have the edge before drop scores, in their new-for-2026 Class C BMW 328i Coupe, whilst Class B’s Stuart Mead/Tim Hartland/Mark Lloyd-Jones trio are next in line (VW Scirocco). Just a couple of points separates the German Auto Werks BMW M2 CS of defending Club Enduro champions Oliver Harris & Jack Collins from the Area Motorsport TCR Golf shared this season by a quartet of drivers with a huge tally of championship titles between them; Rob Baker, Alistair Camp, Luke Woodhouse and Scott Parkin. The two protagonists provided an exciting climax last time out at Oulton Park as the front and rear-wheel-drive platforms found pace at different points of the International Circuit – watch back what happened here. 

When it comes to close race finishes, keep an eye out for Sunday’s Raceparts Historic 750 Formula Handicap Race. In a similar style to 750MC’s Birkett Relay (2026 Now Open), the entries are given different credit times at the start to match their driver and car’s typical lap time. The theory is that they should all cross the line together, and whilst inevitable race action means that theory doesn’t work out exactly, you can usually expect to see a tense drag uphill to the chequered flag for a substantial gaggle of cars here at Snetterton. 

Also on the agenda is Raceparts 750 Formula Championship – the world’s longest running racing formula – where defending champion Bill Cowley currently leads the standings in the iconic family Cowley Mk4. This year the Doncaster-based driver’s closest challenge comes from David Reid in the ex-Dave Hodkin HRD Mk2, and whilst Snetterton 300 lap record holder David Bartholomew isn’t in action this weekend, keep an eye out for Richard Rothery in the same PRS 1b lap record setter shared by the pair.

More sports-racing car action comes from the Nankang Tyre Sports 1000 Championship, where Dan Clowes is starting to look in a strong position to defend a breakthrough 2025 title in his Mittell MC-53. Carl Austen and longstanding S1000 racer Jonathan McGill sit next in line in the points in their Spire GT-3s, whilst Ian Hutchinson leads the Sporting Cup table. 

For fans of lightweight British sportscars, the FreakyParts Sport Specials Championship brings a busy grid of machinery across four classes, featuring some 12 different manufacturers with various different models. Class B’s Marcus Crook has been on good form all year in his Fisher Fury and tops the overall points, as Anton Landon (Class A Cyana Mk2) and Steve Quenby (Class C MEV Exocet) remain in contention behind.

After a few tricky introductory seasons of ups and downs, Eddie Mawer has firmly cemented 2026 as his year in the Blind Screen Ma7da Championship, with the Lincolnshire-based farmer having only been beaten twice this season in his TSR-run machine – and both of those were still podium finishes. David Bowen sits next in line in his Aeon Sportscars entry, but look out also for Lucas Batt who has been on a roll since Cadwell in July and claimed a popular maiden victory last time out at Brands Hatch. 

Finally some of the closest wheel-to-wheel action this weekend may well come from a brace of front-wheel-drive tin-top championships. Jason Wood has been a driving force of the Vulcan Racing Classic Stock Hatch Championship since joining a decade ago, forming his PDC Racing equipe to help support new and existing drivers (and rebuild immaculate Vauxhall Novas) to great effect. Having mastered his craft behind the wheel to move up to third overall for the last two years, Jason now arrives at the penultimate event of 2026 lying second in the standings. The driver topping the table? One of his newest PDC recruits – son Jake Wood. 

The VSG Crypto Clio Sport Championship’s penultimate event sees an excited Greg Hill currently lead the Class A and overall championship points thanks to a welcome run of form that has only seen one race finished off the podium so far this year. Hill’s first full season of Clio competition since joining in 2021 sees him with a healthy class lead from Clio Championship stalwart Stephen Richardson, but it is two-time Class B runner-up Darren Ransom who tops his respective class and will be looking for all the points to challenge for the overall title.
