No fewer than ten formulae are set to conclude their 2026 seasons this weekend at Donington Park with a re-visit to the longer Grand Prix circuit layout, featuring some of the largest entries of the year and a variety of class and overall championship titles to be concluded. 

The Tegiwa Roadsports Championship has attracted record numbers this season, and the UK’s largest racing formula is set to conclude on Saturday with yet another huge field. Despite defending champion Matt Creed (Renault Clio) having provisionally secured the overall and Class C title – and Liam/Max Crilly narrowly having done enough to win Class B in their BMW Z4 Coupe – there is plenty still to play for.

Luke Woodhouse (Volkswagen Golf GTi) comes into the event with a slender two-point margin once drop scores are accounted for, over Scott Parkin in his Darkside Developments diesel Audi TT in the battle for Class A. The pair both will also contest second overall with the Crillys and Sam McKee & Imran Khan (E36 BMW 328i). McKee & Khan will also battle for second in Class C with Ben Macauley in his venerable Series 2 Lotus Elise, plus Chris Heathcote (Clio). Club returnees Henry Wright & Kevin Glover (Mk5 VW Golf GTi) will contest second in Class B with Jon Munday with his well developed EP3 Honda Civic. Just a single point separates the BMW Compact of Elliott Walker and Phil/Matt Adcock from the Vauxhall Nova of Pip Hammond at the top of Class D – the latter sharing this season with Chris Yates and Alex Hall – however this gap extends to seven when drop scores are considered.

The final event of the Radical Club Challenge season also takes place entirely on Saturday with the largest grid of the year expected to take to the Grand Prix Circuit; following on from the same turnout here – the home circuit of Radical UK – in 2025. The SR1 class was a new addition last season and has grown steadily ever since, culminating in a class entry into double figures here this weekend for the first time. Robert Souster tops the points by just three over Martyn Ball, although this extends when drop scores are factored in. A couple of top six finishes should be enough for Souster to take the title if all goes his way.

Souster still has a chance to surpass Class A provisional champion Leon Morrell (PR6) for second overall behind Class B and overall provisional champion Pedro Oliveira (SR3). The PR6s of Charles Hall and Aaron Rose meanwhile are separated by a mere four points in the battle for second in Class A, while a couple of Class B podiums would cement Ben Higgs’ second-place standing in class, with his SR3 RS.

The VSG Crypto Clio Sport Championship returns to Donington for the first time in three years, where three drivers come into the weekend with a chance of taking the overall title: Greg Hill, Darren Ransom and Taylor Norton. When drop scores are accounted for, Class B’s Ransom holds a 10-point margin over Class A’s Hill, with Norton (Class A) a further 18 points behind. A couple of second place finishes should see Sussex-based Ransom secure the overall title, meanwhile, a fourth and fifth place finish in Class A would give Hill the class crown.

A first ever visit to the longer Grand Prix Circuit layout will conclude the Blind Screen Ma7da Championship season on Sunday, with a new lap record up for grabs. Having had a tumultuous couple of seasons of impressive pace crossed with bad luck and varied results, Eddie Mawer heads into the event only needing a top 22 finish in one of the two outings to secure the title, with only Lucas Batt being able to stop him. Mawer has scored some nine wins this season to Batt’s two; the latter now embroiled in a battle for second in the championship with David Bowen; the Aeon Sportscars constructor who has scored six podiums this season. A fifth and sixth place finish should secure Batt the runner-up spot.

It’s tight at the top of the Rogue Motorsport Toyota MR2 Championship, where Jim Mew and Scott Edbrooke will be looking to secure a maiden title if they can get the better of former champion Adam Lockwood. All three are in Class C Mk3 variants, but with the formula’s most decorated winner Shaun Traynor also on the entry list, it’s unlikely to be an easy ride to the finish for any of the trio. Look out also for the circuit racing return of Alpha Live boss Luke Austin; a former MR2 frontrunner who will rejoin after more than a decade away. 

The Disklok F1000 Championship will see a two-way title battle between Merseyside-based racer Tom Westworth and defending champion Matt Higginson. Both drivers have had seasons that have only involved either podium finishes or zero points scores (two for the former, three for the latter), so with the mandatory drop rounds already accounted for, all points collected this weekend will count for the tally – one not to miss. 

Peter Keen has already wrapped up back-to-back titles in the Gaz Shocks-backed BMW 116 Sprint Championship, but it is all to play for behind as Luke Fox aims to fend off the points approaches of Scott Jeffs, Jack Godden and Will Abraham for the runner-up spot. Once that is settled, we are set to see a 40-car turnout for the 90-minute 116 Trophy endurance encounter on Sunday to round out the end of a busy 750MC era for this unique racing formula. 

The Tegiwa Club Enduro Championship will complete its 2026 season with a two-hour encounter on Sunday, where after drop scores are considered, provisional Class C champions Jonathan Hayes & Paul Subbiani (BMW E36 328i) hold a five point advantage at the top of the overall standings from Rob Baker in his VW Golf TCR. A second place finish in class should secure Hayes & Subbiani the title, whilst Baker – who has shared with Alistair Camp, Luke Woodhouse and Scott Parkin this season – requires a top ten finish to take the Class A title, with Parkin joining him again this weekend as co-driver. Oliver Harris & Jack Collins (BMW M2 CS Racing) are the only team who can beat them.

A second place finish in Class B would secure the Volkswagen Scirocco of Stuart Mead, Tim Hartland & Mark Lloyd-Jones the class title. Alex Wilkinson-Hughes & David Connell must win in their ‘Scuderia Dave’ Mk3 Mazda MX-5 to stand a chance of stopping them. Look out also for a trio of newcomers on the Club Enduro grid ahead of likely 2027 campaigns; recently crowned 750MC Hot Hatch Champion Lewis Barker will be joined by his brother Ryan for a Class C outing in their Civic, whilst new Type R Trophy champion Danny Hobson pairs up with Tom MacFarlane in his Class A Audi. Fellow Type R title protagonist Jon Labella is also set to join the grid, paired up with TCR China racer Zihuai Wang in a Paul Sheard-prepared Class A Golf TCR. 

Also taking place on Sunday is the BMW Car Club Championship season finale, with what looks set to be the largest ever grid for this single marque formula. Theo Millward has his sights on the overall title, but with Class M1’s Paul Cook and Class 6’s Paul Laramy also having strong seasons – plus four-time BTCC champion and BMWCCR Ambassador Colin Turkington joining the grid – it is set to be quite the showdown.
